Carol Clatterbuck
Being a native of Silver Spring, Carol Clatterbuck is an active artist in the Maryland/DC area. A member of the Laurel Art Guild (VP, Exhibition Coordinator), the Strathmore Artists and the Rockville Art League, Carol portrays her love of nature, cultures, and universal themes in her works. Currently, she prefers mixed media and ceramics in showing her subjects, although she loves acrylics and watercolors too.
After retiring from 20+ years in vocational rehabilitation/medical management, Carol moved back to this area in 2002 and currently works as a visual art and ceramics instructor for Montgomery County. She also stays connected with her former career by teaching educational classes for a local hospital.
Carol sells her artwork regularly and participates in juried & non-juried shows throughout the MD/DC area. She holds an annual solo show, often benefiting someone in need, an animal rescue organization, or "Pets on Wheels", a local not-for-profit pet therapy group.
